Career Experience
Since 1989, I've been teaching English courses in composition and introductory literature in universities and community colleges. Add in cinema, creative writing, and business communications! And I have written English curriculum for community colleges and in corporate construction management. My recent work focuses on working with people in early college and AP College Board English courses, English learners of all ages, and people learning to read. My clients range in ages from 5 to 75!
I Love Tutoring Because
students allow me to work with them where they are. It's really an honor to learn from my students while I assist them in learning anything and everything from how punctuation works to themes and concepts in literature to anything English-related. I get the joy of following where my students lead and discovering solutions to their needs together.
