By profession, I am an environmental scientist working on environmental remediation projects, but I have worked as a tutor for 7 years tutoring all academic subjects through high school as well as standardized test prep, admissions essay coaching, and English as a Second Language.
I Love Tutoring Because
I have had so many instances where students spoke negatively about themselves or were anxious about their grades or an upcoming test and didn't believe themselves capable of succeeding. My most rewarding experiences have been helping students overcome their self-doubt and develop confidence, knowing that the academic success they achieve will help them long-term.
